14th April, 2017: It was friday.. but still hubby was at home (National hoilday: Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti).. our angel always celebrate, presence of her father. Traditionally Bengali people celebrate this day as bid adeu day of existing year. Neem leaves, turmeric and raw mangoes are lead actors of the special day. As per tradition.. all of us took bath after applying a home made paste of turmeric and neem leaves mixed in equal proportion with mustered oil. She loved the paste, its texture, smell .. dressed up in new cloth.. laughed and laughed. . Played with papa whole day .special menu of lunch being prepared by me was kacha aamer daal ( lentil with raw mango) , fried neem leaves, data chocchori, aloo posto, begun bhaja , aamer tok and payesh.. she tasted payesh ( kheer) and celebrated whole day...
