First holi at RTDC Gangaur-Khasa Kothi and trip to Jaipur Rajasthan

 12th-14th March, 2017:
0n 12th February early morning we started from our home to purani delhi station for our first trip to Jaipur, Rajasthan to celebrate Pragya's first holi at khasa kothi. We traveled by train which was 7 hrs late from actual time, so we reached Jaipur during evening hours. Our room was booked in RTDC hotel Gangaur, a beautiful cozy hotel, with well maintained rooms and well mannered staffs. Pragya loved the room and we too. During evening hours by auto we visited chandpole market and had yummy dinner there only. Next morning after having complementary breakfast at the hotel restaurant, we moved towards khasa kothi. Built about a century back Khasa Kothi is a sprawling mansion which served as the state guest house initially. The heritage property was built by Sawai Ram Singh originally, however later subsequently portions were added by his successors to enlarge the property. We along with other Indian  and foreigner tourists were welcomed with floral petal, shehnai, and more Rajasthani traditional things like kathputli dance, kalbelia and many more. Foreigner came to click photos of my baby, we danced, played with gulal and floral petals. Dancers came to hold my baby and get some pics clicked with her. We protected Pragya from colors and used Himalaya baby powder as colors. During evening hours , we hired a tamtam and visited city palace, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal and Amer ka  Quila. It was really a grt holiday with our child. Next day early morning we returned by train.
