Sadh: The baby shower

7th August, 2016 : It was finally 9th month. As per auspicious timings of astrology, my baby shower was finalised. Mom gifted my saree, papa a smartphone. Saree, cosmetics, perfume and many more things were gifted by hubby. Papa and hubby together visited nearby temple and offered puja. After that me in bride like attire was made to seat in a chair. Mom offered me five types of fruits and five types of mithais. Hubby also offered five type of chocolates and sweets. Mom fed me 9 iteams of fries and curries, cooked by her. The day was full of happiness and smile.

First Saraswati Puja / Vasant Panchami

1st February,2017 : Saraswati Puja indicates first step of spring. On Shukla Panchami tithi of Indian month Magh, Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge is worshipped every year. On that auspicious day, girls and boys wear traditional dresses, and offer their prayer to divine mother. It was first vasant panchami of my baby. During morning hours, I had an interview in UGC office, Delhi, as soon as we come back, I let her sleep and take rest for some times then dressed her up in springly dresses and she celebrated Vasant panchami/ Saraswati Puja along with her papa and mamma :D

Arrival of maa-baba

25th July, 2016: Hubby visited airport, to receive my parents. On inivitation from our side, they were finally there with us. It was like a dream come true moment for us. Hugged maa after so many months. In the evening papa threw a pizza party. Fun started.
